So the Star Boards charity project I am a part of is finally starting to take shape. We will be getting out decks within the next month then we have roughly 8 months to paint them and get them back to England before the convention. I'm very excited about this project and that I was asked to join the ranks of amazing painters and tattooers who are involved with this project. For those of you who don't know what this project is then here's the press clipping from the website:
"A charity project involving 70 of the world's top Tattoo Artists across 51 top studios, small concave pieces of ply wood, 6 (or at least 3) of the greatest films ever made and the Greatest Tattoo Convention the UK has to offer. The ‘Star Boards’ project is born. We have 69 blank skate boards, 69 like minded Tattoo Artists and we are gonna get them to paint, model, spray, scratch or do whatever they want to their assigned skate board as long as it is STAR WARS related. The only limit is their imagination.
All proceeds from the project are going to Ty Hafan, a children’s hospice in Wales. Ty Hafan offers comfort, care and support for life-limited children and young people and is dedicated to improving the quality of life of their whole family.
These are the boards you’re looking for…"
Pretty dope huh? Anyways here's the link to the website so you can check it out some more and stay up to date
